The monthly magazine podcast for the discerning film nerd. James Adamson is a slightly obsessive armchair fan, giving you his take on the world of cinema. So are his co hosts: James Adamson, his imaginatively named son, and Alan Bayles, a sci fi author, fellow film nerd and fellow Sunderland fan. As well as a look at news, new releases and how we’re fitting in movie watching with our busy exciting lives, we look into classic films we haven't seen yet and overlooked hidden gems you need to see, ask remakes to justify their existence or be wiped from history and offer parole hearings to bad films that need to be remade to fix their flaws.

Reel 2 of the latest episode of the premier magazine-style podcast for the discerning film nerd. Continuing this episode's sci fi theme we look at futuristic films and how accurate or otherwise their predictions have been. We have fun looking at what older films predicted for our present day and rather less fun looking at what they are predicting for our dystopian future.
Reel 1 is also available to download if you haven't caught up with that already.
