The monthly magazine podcast for the discerning film nerd. James Adamson is a slightly obsessive armchair fan, giving you his take on the world of cinema. So are his co hosts: James Adamson, his imaginatively named son, and Alan Bayles, a sci fi author, fellow film nerd and fellow Sunderland fan. As well as a look at news, new releases and how we’re fitting in movie watching with our busy exciting lives, we look into classic films we haven't seen yet and overlooked hidden gems you need to see, ask remakes to justify their existence or be wiped from history and offer parole hearings to bad films that need to be remade to fix their flaws.

The monthly podcast magazine for discerning film nerds brings you its final edition of 2020. James Adamson and James Adamson deliver a bumper episode to see you through to the New Year, featuring: this month's round up of film news and what we watched this month, including Lovecraft horror Color Out of Space; our Classic feature in which James (no, the other one) finally gets round to watching the Blues Brothers; our Hidden Gem, Danny Boyle's underrated Sunshine; The One That Got Away featuring Kathryn Bigelow's unrealised Joan of Arc project; and a Remake Hatewatch of the baffling 2004 Coen Brothers version of The Ladykillers.
