The monthly magazine podcast for the discerning film nerd. James Adamson is a slightly obsessive armchair fan, giving you his take on the world of cinema. So are his co hosts: James Adamson, his imaginatively named son, and Alan Bayles, a sci fi author, fellow film nerd and fellow Sunderland fan. As well as a look at news, new releases and how we’re fitting in movie watching with our busy exciting lives, we look into classic films we haven't seen yet and overlooked hidden gems you need to see, ask remakes to justify their existence or be wiped from history and offer parole hearings to bad films that need to be remade to fix their flaws.

The first reel of the latest monthly podcast magazine for the distinguished film nerd. In our fresh new format, co hosts James Adamson and James Adamson bring you the latest news and a string of fascinating features, in the world's best namesake-hosted film podcast.
This month we round up the news including the sad passing of Sean Connery, a look at the new Borat film, a re-evaluation of Scorsese's classic Casino, Hidden Gem Dillinger, Hitchcock's One That Got Away which was his unrealised Kaleidoscope project, and a remake hatewatch of the unnecessary Tim Burton version of Planet of the Apes
You'll notice our unique hosting style including Robert Altman-style overlapping dialogue and Tenet-style innovative sound mix (OK, our broadband provider screwed us and there was some sound delay, but it still sounds pretty cool).
