The monthly magazine podcast for the discerning film nerd. James Adamson is a slightly obsessive armchair fan, giving you his take on the world of cinema. So are his co hosts: James Adamson, his imaginatively named son, and Alan Bayles, a sci fi author, fellow film nerd and fellow Sunderland fan. As well as a look at news, new releases and how we’re fitting in movie watching with our busy exciting lives, we look into classic films we haven't seen yet and overlooked hidden gems you need to see, ask remakes to justify their existence or be wiped from history and offer parole hearings to bad films that need to be remade to fix their flaws.

The second reel of your monthly podcast magazine full of top quality nerdy film content, including: The concluding part of the Adamsons discussing diversity and race in Hollywood; the Hidden Gem feature which looks at why Kathryn Bigelow's masterful Strange Days didn't achieve the success it deserved; The One That Got Away, featuring Akira Kurosawa's unrealised project The Mask of the Black Death; a Remake Hatewatch of the notorious 1996 version of The Island of Dr Moreau; and possibly a Marvel-style post credits Easter Egg for those of you nerdy enough to listen right to the very end.
