The monthly magazine podcast for the discerning film nerd. James Adamson is a slightly obsessive armchair fan, giving you his take on the world of cinema. So are his co hosts: James Adamson, his imaginatively named son, and Alan Bayles, a sci fi author, fellow film nerd and fellow Sunderland fan. As well as a look at news, new releases and how we’re fitting in movie watching with our busy exciting lives, we look into classic films we haven't seen yet and overlooked hidden gems you need to see, ask remakes to justify their existence or be wiped from history and offer parole hearings to bad films that need to be remade to fix their flaws.

The latest edition of the monthly podcast magazine for the discerning film nerd, published in two parts with an intermission for that old school cinema experience. In Reel 1: a round up of a month in the life of a busy film nerd, including going to see Christopher Nolan's new film TENET at the IMAX; a look at the classic but highly controversial David Cronenberg's Crash, and the first part of the Adamson's discussing Spike Lee's feud with Quentin Tarantino and wider issues of diversity in Hollywood and beyond.
