The monthly magazine podcast for the discerning film nerd. James Adamson is a slightly obsessive armchair fan, giving you his take on the world of cinema. So are his co hosts: James Adamson, his imaginatively named son, and Alan Bayles, a sci fi author, fellow film nerd and fellow Sunderland fan. As well as a look at news, new releases and how we’re fitting in movie watching with our busy exciting lives, we look into classic films we haven't seen yet and overlooked hidden gems you need to see, ask remakes to justify their existence or be wiped from history and offer parole hearings to bad films that need to be remade to fix their flaws.

Issue 62 continues with the Remakes Tribunal where we put bad filmmaking on trial. First up we put the 2010 version of Piranha under the spotlight and ask if it deserves to exist. Then we take a film that didn't work the first time - 1997's The Relic - and ask if a remake would fix its problems.
The previous parts of this months issue are out now - Double Reel Monthly and Classics and Hidden Gems. Next week we'll finish up with a Spotlight on John Boorman.
